Everyone has their own identity and their definition of beauty. Tattoos are just a creative way of showing it.
I think tattoos can separate you from all the other people, giving you individuality. My tattoos tell a story about my life, some are of things I find interesting, funny, beautiful..some are a symbol of my heritage.
I have 18 tattoos, SO FAR. Yes, I fully intend on having many many more. I forget all the time, that I even have them. They are a part of me.
My favorites are my Rocket Queen, my mermaid, my Derby Wife tattoo, my Equality symbol and my first tattoo…my celtic clover………actually ALL of them! I love them all! I have one, that is terrible, but it reminds me of what NOT to do!
What I dislike most is the stigma that is attached with tattoos…and the people who walk around thinking they are cool because they have them! In my opinion, they ruin it for people who use tattoos as a creative outlet and self expression.A lot of people, may think I look trashy and that I must not have a job, do drugs ek cetera, but there is a lot of money invested on my body and I work everyday to afford them.
“Tattooing, when understood in its entirety, must be seen as a religious act. The human being brings forth images from the center of the self and communicates them to the world. Fantasy is embodied in reality and the person is made whole.” ― Spider Webb
